Description :

"Holmes and Watson are faced with their most terrifying case yet. The legend of the devil-beast that haunts the moors around the Baskerville family's home warns the descendants of that ancient clan never to venture out in those dark hours when the power of evil is exalted. Now, the most recent Baskerville, Sir Charles, is dead and the footprints of a giant hound have been found near his body. Will the new heir meet the same fate?"

Notable quote :

"Now is the dramatic moment of fate, Watson, when you hear a step upon the stair which is walking into your life, and you know not whether for good or ill."

My Rating : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review :

This is my favourite Doyle's works above all! Set in Dartmoor, England, The Hound of Baskerville tells the story of an attempted murder inspired by the legend of a fearsome, diabolical hound of supernatural origin. Sherlock Holmes and his companion John Watson must investigate this strange case. I love it when Sherlock himself was extremely interested and nervous at once, but he gave all of his efforts to solve the case. This book tell us about war of logic, myth, mythand imagination. Worth to read! imag
